After six months of research, preparation and partnership with the Douglas County Assessors Office, JM Web Designs is excited to launch the website for the Douglas County Assessor's Permissive Exemption Application.
JM has built an internal system for filing and submitting an exemption application, Form 451, electronically in addition to their time-consuming paper system. Allowing registrations to be filed and stored in this program will save time and resources for the county.
Registration on the site is for any organization or society which is the owner of real or tangible personal property, except licensed motor vehicles, and is seeking continuation of a property tax exemption. The site outlines a list of qualifications and stipulations.
Upon registering with the site, users can create a profile, file applications and view their status. For the assessors, the system allows for application organization and a smooth review process.
