Last week JM’s designer, Dan Svoboda and I – Account Manager, Stephanie Effken – decided to go on a downtown/midtown Omaha restaurant tour. Since most of our day is spent critiquing websites, we figured we could channel that same energy toward food.
Our week consisted of the following stops:

So, since we’re being critical, here’s the rundown on each stop.
With the rise of technology and the increasingly important role online presence is playing for businesses, website credibility is an area in which many business should invest. Websites are the new store front. Even if you have a brick and mortar storefront, many potential customers will visit your website before ever getting in the car. Road Warriors came to us at JM with a tight deadline for a new website launch. Owner Mike McKeever wanted to show off a new design at a trade show only a month down the road from starting the project, so our team jumped in right away to expedite the process.
Alliance Counseling Center in Omaha recently launched their first website! Partners, Mary Brendis, Kevin Cahill, Kathy Martin and Marie O’Rourke decided it was time to market their company on the Internet and invest in a new website.
Premier Dental is an Omaha dentist office in west Omaha, who provides services relating to general dentistry to orthodontics to neuromuscular dentistry. The previous website for Premier Dental needed a bit of cosmetic updates and so they contacted JM to provide a new website design that would function well with all their content and services.
LaVista Keno is a combination of keno, Jimbo’s Diner and Swizzle Stix, all in the same location, serving the same customers. The management at LaVista Keno came to JM for the restaurant’s first website, in order to gain a web presence and keep customers up-to-date on the latest specials.
JM recently launched a brand new website for AES Lighting Group in Omaha, Nebraska. AES came to JM in need of a new website, since the previous site was built entirely in flash and it was difficult for them to update. So they figured – why not start over?
Cornerstone Staffing came to JM as a referral from a current client – Beebe + Runyan Lofts. Owner of Cornerstone, Brooke McAlpin, has been growing the business for the last several years and needed a new website to reflect all the success she has seen.
G.M.S Werks is an Omaha granite, marble and stone company established in 1924. This business has been passed down in the family since 1924 is now owned and operated by father and son – Louie and Terry Bortolotti.
