Each year JM provides a free service for two local events or causes, in an effort to the support community and give back to the citizens of Omaha and state of Nebraska for all it has given to us.
This year, JM is donating a logo design, website and Web hosting to the Nebraska Veterans Walk.
JM is appreciative of the sacrifice our veterans have made to defend our freedom and preserve our constitution and is excited to offer web services for this walk.
The Nebraska Veterans Walk is organized by Jeff Miller, a disabled veteran, whose efforts have launched this fundraising feat. The walk, headed by Miller, will begin at the Nebraska/Wyoming border and end at the Missouri River. Along the way, Miller hopes to pick up other walkers and visit VFWs and Legion Halls along the way to raise funds.
Currently, there are five veterans’ homes across the state of Nebraska and veterans from all locations must be bussed to Omaha for care. This causes excessive wear and tear on the busses used to transport these veterans – some having upwards of 500-600,000 miles.
The funds Miller raises from his walk will go toward busses to transport these veterans to and from Omaha.
JM wishes the Nebraska Veterans Walk great success and is proud to support those who have given so much to them.
