Technik MFG recently launched their second website with JM. Many years ago, JM built a custom designed website with a state-of-the-art content management system. Since then, technology has changed drastically and Technik’s new website more accurate reflects current trends and innovations.
This new website is a pre-built WordPress content management system customized to fit Technik’s brand. This website features a clean design to showcase their products, and provides mobile-friendly technology for on-the-go users.
Post-launch, our Omaha internet marketing and SEO team will continue to partner with Technik for success in the search engines. We wish great success to Technik with this new website and look forward to a continued partnership for their growth.

Webster Well Services, out of Morse Bluff, needed an updated design and a website platform that would be friendly for the search engines. After many years of using a website that was not easily updatable and did not provide an easy avenue to see search engine optimization (SEO) success, Webster Well’s new website is built on a WordPress content management system – which helps with both.
At JM, we can’t believe another year is about to pass. As we approach the end of 2014 and begin 2015, we are recounting all we’re thankful for; and all the challenges we’ve encountered, the clients we’ve gained and the services we’ve expanded on.
This year our Omaha website design and web development team was stretched, taking on extensive projects; including customized ecommerce systems and learning new features and plugins within our robust content management system – WordPress. Our projects have led us to new programming feats, new software implementations and new ecommerce solutions. Our clients’ innovative and unique businesses have provided us with countless learning opportunities.
And while we have always boasted expertise in the website design and development field, our Omaha web design clients are now expanding their reach into search engine optimization (SEO) and responsive design. Our SEO services were launched last year and have peaked an interested in many of our current customers. Additionally, responsive design has taken off this year; and we anticipate it will be a must-have for every website design in the near future.
Additionally, this year our client base has expanded 25% in the year 2014. We are so thankful for the customers we’ve gained this year, the ones we’ve retained and the opportunities for growth we’ve experienced. Our entire team truly enjoys serving Omaha and all our web design, internet marketing and hosting clients. We know our success lays in your trust and your willingness to refer your friends and colleagues. So cheers to a happy new year and another year of serving you!
Our team at JM spends a significant amount of time consulting Google Analytics. This is a powerful tool we include in each website, which helps measure the success of a website’s design, content and layout.
Analytics provides a detailed account of users – where they live, how they found your website, what devices they are using and what pages they visited. Here are some ways you can use user trends to determine the current quality of your site:
– What geographical location are your visitors primarily from? If you are a local, Omaha business it would be ideal for your visitors to be from Omaha or the surrounding area. If your users are coming from San Francisco and you’re a local Omaha business, maybe you need to reevaluate your website’s content, page titles and Google places account.
– How did your visitors find you? If your users typed in your website URL directly into the browser, this indicates excellent brand recognition. This is particularly helpful when using a specific URL for an ad campaign. Using a specified URL for an ad campaign can help you measure its success.
– What devices are your visitors using? As technology rapidly changes, tracking the devices which your visitors are using is valuable knowledge for getting to know your target audience and for making sure your website is user-friendly for those devices. If high traffic volume is coming from a mobile device, it’s best to evaluate how your website functions within that particular resolution. JM recently started offering responsive design services to ensure your website is user-friendly across all devices.
– What pages are users visiting? Google analytics goes into extensive detail about where users are going on a website. It shows top pages, how long users stayed there and what they clicked while on a given page. This information will help you assess the quality of information on your site. Is it informative? Interesting? Are users appropriately following the call to action (meaning where you would like them to go and how you would like them to make contact)?
This is just the beginning of what Google analytics can offer. Our team can not only install analytics on your website but help review the data and analyze action items to ensure your website is reaching your target audience.
Our web design and development team at JM likes to collaborate with other professionals in the Omaha or Iowa area whenever possible. Recently, we assisted Lautner Farms in Adel, IA, develop a new website to advertise their cows and update customers and prospects on new activity in their business.
Stephanie Steck, a business consultant in the Iowa area, contacted JM to assist in the website development for this project. Our web developers took the design provided by Stephanie and wrapped it around a WordPress content management system (CMS). This CMS allows for Lautner Farms to keep a well-updated blog and control all the content and images across the site. The WordPress CMS is also well known for assisting websites with search engine optimization (SEO) value and organic search rankings.
Lautner Farms has gained great publicity since the launch of this website, thanks to great SEO. Lautner Farms is known, in addition to many other things, for their fluffy cows. The [adorable] fluffy cow posted on their website went viral and it now being hashtagged and tweeted around the world. In addition, many local and national news outlets have picked up the image and story of the fluffy cow. We are thrilled this new website is bringing business and publicity to Lautner Farms and look forward to a continued partnership.
Palladin Consulting Group, based out of Omaha, Neb., needed a website design makeover – even though they just recently updated their design. After recently upgrading their website design with another company, they decided to allow JM to take them in a different direction.
