At JM, we recently launched a new website for the Lewis & Clark Missouri River Basin Visitors Center in Nebraska City, Neb., that includes a custom website design, interactive flash, an e-commerce system, event calendar and blog.

The board at the visitor’s center called JM with an idea for an interactive site that would give visitors the experience of the center and encourage them to visit. Upon pulling up the website the visitor is prompted to enter the visitors center into the interactive portion of the site. Our designer hand sketched each slide in this area based on his experience at the center.

The Lewis and Clark Center also has a large gift shop which they wanted to integrate into an online store and after only a couple week of being live, they have already received orders. Along with this online shopping cart, the Lewis and Clark Center website is equipped with a CMS (content management system) through which they can update the content and photos of all their pages, along with a blog and event calendar that they can update themselves.

This was a smooth project from start to finish and our team loved working with everyone at the Lewis and Clark Visitors Center. With all this site has to offer we know it will help bring more visitors to the center and bring in the means to continue their mission of educating people about the journey of Lewis and Clark.
